The USB eraser function provides two options of a quick erase or full erase. Think of the quick erase as the quick format in Windows.  Here the function will clear the FAT [File Allocation Table] however the files still remain in the data format.  Meaning, the files can still be recovered using a recovery tool, or the recovery function within this program.

The USB Full Erase function does a low level erase of the flash memory device.  After this process there is no ability to restore deleted files.  Think of this as the full format function within Windows.

It's important to know that our erase function does not use the Windows format API, but rather our own code to perform these functions.
